Soooo, I know it's been like forever since you last heard from me and well.... I know you guys missed me so here's the latest updates:
1. I've been working full time at the local hospital in my hometown to raise money for my project and so far, nada (I blame bills for that) and well today I'm looking at the things I need to get and creating a budget so I can start working and getting all of my supplies.
2. After moving back and living with my dad and he's not so up-to-date house, it's been too cold to really work outside in the garage which by the way he found out it has power!! YEAH!!! Which this is a good thing because if it warms up just enough and if he cleans out an area I can start cutting out my leaves. Remember that 1 piece of plywood that I bought? Yea its been hanging out in the garage since I've gotten home from college.
3. Early this week I was looking at which colors I was going to use for the leaves and I have a pretty good idea which ones I'm going to use. Mostly Dr. Seuss colors after all the project is kind of inspired by "The Lorax". Sadly, I can't get as many colors as I wanted because paint is not cheap so I might end up mixing a few.
Now the major time consuming part of this project is cutting the leaves out and painting them. That's pretty much it really. But I'm thinking maybe 250 to 300 leaves. MAYBE!! I don't really know, we're just gonna have to wait and see won't we?? lol
